Under the Annotated Combined Code of Corporate Governance, the Society is required to appoint a Member Relations Director.

Role of the Member Relations Director
The Member Relations Director will:
be responsible for ensuring that the Society has a member relations strategy in place and that this strategy is reviewed on a regular basis. ensure that adequate arrangements are in place for keeping in touch with and taking account of members' views. act as a point of contact for members, including Stewards, of the Society with concerns which have failed to be resolved or would not be appropriate to be processed through the normal channels of the Chairman or Chief Executive.
